Physician Assistants

Mr Mohamed Mohamed (m)

Mohamed is our in house Physician associate. He is a medically trained generalist healthcare professional, who works alongside our Doctors and provides medical care as an integral part of the team. He now has a clinic on a Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.


Michelle Chandler

We now have a practice pharmacist here at the surgery on a Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday afternoon.

She will be running medication review clinics on a Tuesday afternoon from 21.6.16 between 3pm - 5pm

Community Midwives

The midwives run an antenatal clinic at the Cannock surgery on Thursdays from 13:00 - 16:00.

Community Nurses

The district nurses based at the Cannock Surgery are Graham Coates (team leader), Gina Jones, Jean Bracebridge, Catherine Armitage-McGirr, Rosemarie Thouless,  Charlie Babiy, Esther Clarke and Donna Hedley. Stacey Watton is the District Nursing Team's Phlebotomist/Clerical assistant.  They are available to see you in your home and help with dressings and removal of sutures, advice and care etc. They can be contacted on Cannock 435393.

Health Visitors

The health visitors based at the Cannock Surgery are Karen Sutton, Claire Challinor.  Claire Challinor has recently joined the team as Community Nursery Nurse. They are qualified general nurses and have done further training to qualify as health visitors. They works predominantly with under five’s. They run the baby clinic now held at our Huntington Branch on Wednesday afternoons between 2pm - 4pm by appointment only via reception (01543 435390). The Health Visitors can be contacted direct on Cannock 435392.


We have two counsellors available at the surgery

Linda Mather and Natalie Smith are available via a doctor referral.


Liz Askey and Jasmine Mangat are based at the Cannock Surgery. You can be referred by a doctor in the practice.
